Every Betta lover is always looking for new shapes and colors.
Maipenrai Aquarium, a company always attentive to all the news on the market thanks to its presence in the area and close collaboration with Thai breeders, is able to present the new varieties of Betta Metallic to its customers.
This new Betta color is born from the union of the most widespread and recent colors (Koi, Nemo, Candy, Galaxy, Avatar) with the "metallic" gene, a gene obtained from the isolation, selection and subsequent hybridization with other bettas of the " splendens ” group (mainly imbellis and mahachaiensis).
This new type of Betta is simply beautiful and, in our opinion, is able to combine the flamboyance of the most modern colors with the elegance brought by the "metallic" gene capable of adding metallic reflections of copper tones and gilded, to these new Betta selections, now more and more appreciated by collectors and breeders from all over the world.

These new "metallic" colors of Betta are in continuous selection and more and more colors will be available, such as, for example Galaxy Copper / Gold and Black Star Gold, colors born and fixed in conjunction with the union and selection of the gene "metallic".
In our personal experience, the fry of these colors grow very quickly, showing their first metallic reflections already in the first two weeks of life, giving a lot of satisfaction to both amateur and professional breeders.
