Fish of the genus Betta are not only found in Thailand, but are also widely distributed in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Many of these Bettas are extremely rare in the aquarium market, but thanks to our continuous efforts and contacts with the best greenhouses throughout Southeast Asia, we are now able to regularly offer our customers Betta specimens from Malaysia and Indonesia.
Many of these uncommon species are not nest builders, but are oral incubators and this reproductive practice can make their maintenance even more interesting.
In many cases we are also able to provide precise geographical indications of the place of origin to allow customers a precise indication of the species and any geographical variant.
Below is a list of the species we have selected for export of these rare tropical fish. The species you will find below are always available and ready for export, but always and in any case in a limited number of specimens, due to the unconventional nature of these Betta groups.
Do not hesitate to contact us for more information on the importation of wild Bettas and any other species of tropical fish present in our availability.
