Betta imbellis is certainly one of the most beautiful wild Bettas that populate Thai fresh waters.
Coming from southern Thailand, it is characterized by a red color that follows the edge of the fins in contrast with the metallic blue / green color of the rest of the body.
From the point of view of maintenance, although not very widespread, it is a species certainly advisable even for beginners as it is very resistant and easily acclimatized, provided that the ideal water conditions are respected:
- Temperature: 24-28 degrees C
- pH: 5-7.5
- dH: 5-20
Betta imbellis (also known as Peacefull or Crescent Betta), is a Betta that creates a nest of bubbles and its reproduction is the same as that of the better known Betta splendens.
